The Content Review team focuses on moderating publicly facing content on Snapchat. It’s our job to keep each Snapchatter’s experience safe, whether that is engaging with a Snap on Spotlight or a creator on Discover. Our team assesses broadly distributed content against our Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and Product-specific policies. Together, with our Policy, Product and Engineering counterparts, our moderation team reinforces our Content Guidelines across content types, every day. This team empowers Snapchatters to have safe, relevant and engaging experiences with content on Snapchat.
We’re looking for a Content Review Operations Specialist to join the Content Review team at Snap Inc!
What you’ll do:

Review content submissions for compliance with guidelines, technical requirements and ongoing regulatory requirements

Handle safety incident reports following operations procedures.

Act as an escalation point for urgent and violating content.
-
Conduct quality audits and use data to address new issues and trends.
-
Develop policy guidance, product updates, and operational improvements.
-
Project manage operations, quality and product initiatives with tight deadlines.
-
Review team members' work, provide feedback, and deliver training.
-
Proactively anticipate trends and development ahead of new features and propose relevant new policies or changes to existing policies to stakeholders

Serve as a partner with vendor teams supporting stakeholder management and issue resolution.

Support product documentation, organize training, and design workflows for new product rollouts.
-
Collaborate with various teams to enhance the customer experience for Snapchat partners.

Ensure vendor teams comply with security requirements and best practices.

Proactively anticipate content and quality trends and propose relevant policies.

Identify and propose solutions for process and tooling gaps.
-
Promote employee wellness practices.
-
Up to 20% travel as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of JIRA, Zendesk and other CRM and ticket management software.

Strong interpersonal skills for effective team and vendor collaboration.

Meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.

Process-driven with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.

Strong analytical skills, including managing, analyzing and reporting on large data sets and extracting insights to support investigations and decision-making

Customer-focused with a passion for supporting Snapchatters.

Passion for Snapchat and a willingness to take on the challenge of building from the ground up.

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Experience in policy enforcement with meticulous attention to detail.

Proficiency in managing multiple global projects and working with cross-functional stakeholders.

Excellent data analytics skills for problem-solving, decision-making, and reporting.

Exceptional judgment and ability to problem-solve, both independently and collaboratively.

Capacity to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional language skills are a plus.

Experience in content moderation, operations/program management, product, or related roles.

Background in online safety-related disciplines at a technology company.

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $78,000-$105,000 annually.
The base salary range for this position is $74,000-$100,000 annually.
The base salary range for this position is $66,000-$89,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
